An oldie-but-goodie for your Sunday reading pleasure: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's 1892 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper," which explores women's roles, societal expectations and the mental disruptions those restrictions can bring about. It's a haunting, maddening and, in some strange way, beautiful tale. Certainly, many of you have read it before, but I discover something new each time I read it.
